- Fabio Aru (born 3 July 1990) is an Italian professional road bicycle racer, who rides for UCI WorldTeam UAE Team Emirates.He hails from San Gavino Monreale in Sardinia, and is known for his climbing ability which has made him a favorite for the Grand Tours.
- He is known as "The Knight of the four Moors" which is a homage to his native island of Sardinia. Aru has won stages in all three Grand Tours, including 1 stage at the Tour de France, 3 stages at the Giro d'Italia and 2 stages at the Vuelta a España.
- He is also a former Italian National Road Race champion having won the race in 2017.
