- James Chadwick Pennington (born June 26, 1976) is a former American football quarterback who played in the National Football League (NFL) for eleven seasons.
- He played college football at Marshall University and was drafted by the New York Jets in the first round, as the eighteenth overall selection in the 2000 NFL Draft.
- He played for the Jets from 2000 to 2007 and for the Miami Dolphins from 2008 to 2010.
- Pennington is the only player to win the AP NFL Comeback Player of the Year Award twice, doing so in 2006 and 2008.
